Contact Fortek

To inquire about truck lights, side markers or trailer lights, write to [email protected]. Email is the published contact route for this site, and it is the route to use for category inquiries, custom briefs and certificate requests.

A useful inquiry describes the vehicle or trailer, the function and position of the light, and the quantity needed. Include a photograph or drawing of an existing fitting where one exists, and state any shape, colour, mounting or feature requirement in the first message. The checklist on any category page can be used as a template.

The certificate position is stated plainly: Certificates available upon request. Before payment, confirm availability, pricing and lead times in writing through your inquiry. No price, quantity threshold or lead time is stated on this site, because none has been confirmed for a specific fitting.

What to include in your inquiry

A useful inquiry starts with the vehicle or trailer, because the same light category can serve different vehicles and the fitting follows from the vehicle. Name the vehicle or trailer type, and say whether the light is for a new build, a replacement or a fleet programme. That context lets a supplier understand the inquiry without a long exchange of clarifying messages.

Next, describe the function and position of the light. Function means what the light does, whether it marks, signals braking, signals reversing, stays on while running, or illuminates a plate. Position means where it sits, whether at the rear, at the side, on a fender, or marking an outline. Function and position together narrow a category to a fitting in a way that a category name alone cannot.

Then describe shape, mounting and connection. Shape matters where the mounting opening is fixed, as with round and oval categories. Mounting matters where a bracket or a magnetic or wireless feature is involved. Connection matters where the trailer or vehicle wiring must match the light. A photograph or drawing of an existing fitting answers all three faster than words alone, and it is worth including wherever one exists.

Finally, state the quantity needed, including spares, and any colour or feature requirement. Quantity shapes the reply, because a single replacement and a batch order are handled differently, and spares are often forgotten until after an order is placed. Colour and feature requirements should be stated in the first message, so that the reply can address them directly rather than reopening the inquiry.

What happens after you inquire

Ask Fortek about availability, pricing, lead times and any documentation you require. Obtain written confirmation before payment, and include enough information to describe your requirements. No figure on this site substitutes for that written confirmation, because no figure has been confirmed for a specific fitting.

If an inquiry names a category outside the confirmed scope of truck lights, side markers and trailer lights, the honest reply is a plain statement that it is outside scope. That reply is more useful than a page that claims everything, and it lets the buyer look elsewhere without wasting time. Buyers should therefore name the category plainly in the first message, even where they suspect it may be outside scope.

Include the relevant details from the checklist above in your inquiry. A specification cannot be confirmed without function, position, vehicle or trailer, and quantity, and an inquiry that leaves those facts open cannot be answered specifically.
